When it rains..... It pours.....

This past week (well technically last week) has been interesting to say the least. It all started when I went to work. Well, nothing happened there. Normal beginning of the week work day. Then I get a call from The Boy. Our backyard, front yard, and neighbors backyard is soaked. It's coming from one of our pipes. So, he calls in someone. They find where it's at. All the way under our kitchen. Apparently it's been that way for months but not noticeable. But it got really bad few days before hand and soaked everything outside. I always wondered why our yard always looked greener then everyone else. Hmmm it's been slowly getting watered all the time. Which would explain why the dirt never dried completely out like other peoples in the neighborhood too..... But it was never soaked either. Just like normal healthy dirt. I get home. We walk in. It stinks of propane. Can't figure out why and it's not getting any better. In fact it seemed to get a little stronger. So, we call the gas company, get the critters and go outside and wait. Sure enough. We have a gas leak. The pipe is messed up in the backyard. And the stove hookup thingie is messed up..... Yay..... Still haven't got that fixed. But we got the water fixed. So, now we have the joys of cold showers. But hey everyone is okay. That's all that matters in the long run. Plus, new tile. Been wanting to change the tile in the kitchen. Come to find out, no not everyone is okay. Two days later I find my hermit crab Hermie died in his cage and I don't know why. I worry that it was the propane, but the other ones are okay and still alive. And they live for a long time, so I don't know what happened.

But in Santaland all is well. But for the greeting card machine thingie. Maybe the 4th one the send will work..... or not. But besides that all is well there. Even with a scary Frosty the Snowman.

I also finally got the Christmas lights up outside. Need to take a picture of it sometime. But me being me, I need more lights. Next year I shall have the brightest house in the world. You just can't have to many lights. Honestly you can't..... You'll see..... Next year.....
